WISEWOOD 11 A SIDE TOURNAMENT WINNERS

The boys won their first 11 a side trophy at the Wisewood tournament.

On a weekend of good, bad and ugly, finished 3rd in the group then won a tight semi final v Sheffield Rangers 1-0 and finally produced a Greenhill performance in the final beating Woodhouse 6-2.

Another trophy doesn't paper over the cracks - we've got a long long way to go before we look anything like an 11 a side team but another tournament win is always nice.

Well done boys!!

Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
